MTB 82 Thoraualm is a medium-difficulty mountain bike trail near Ruhpolding in Bavaria that takes riders through beautiful countryside and traditional alpine farmhouses. The route passes by a marble quarry and follows small side roads before climbing steadily and sometimes steeply from the Glockenschmiede toward the Thorauer Alm high alpine meadow. The trail showcases eight traditional alpine huts scattered across the gently rising valley, and the area is known for its exceptional biodiversity with over 230 different plant species. Riders can start from Laubau or alternatively from the Staudigl/Vorderbrand parking area, with regional train and bus connections available from Traunstein.
