Kunkels Bike

The Kunkels Bike trail starts in Bad Ragaz and climbs steadily over the Kunkels Pass to Tamins. Riders pass through Valens, cross a tall bridge to Vasön, and ride along the scenic Mapragg reservoir. The path goes through a rugged basin with steep mountain walls to Vättis, then up through wild countryside to the pass summit. Most of the trail follows paved roads with some natural surfaces, offering great views of the Calanda Mountain. It challenges riders with a medium physical effort but stays easy on technical skills.
