Heiligwasser

The Heiligwasser trail starts at the old Patscherkofel cable car base station in Igls near Innsbruck and climbs steadily along the Heiligwasserweg. Riders follow gravel paths and forest roads past the new cable car station, crossing the Römerstraße to reach the pilgrimage church and Alpengasthof Heiligwasser at around 1234 meters. The terrain mixes asphalt and gravel with some steep sections that challenge legs and brakes. Beautiful views of the Tyrolean mountains and valleys unfold along the way. At the top, riders enjoy the peaceful alpine setting with a mountain hut for rest.
