Große Compedalrunde

Assling, Tyrol, Austria

Große Compedalrunde

The Große Compedalrunde starts at the Sportzentrum in Thal and follows the Drauradweg to Mittewald, then climbs to Herolerhöfen and Unterkosten. Riders go along the Pustertaler Höhenstraße into the Kristeinertal with a 400-meter uphill to Schönkosten, facing a short steep section to Schihütte before joining a forest path. The trail descends through Kontrinerkaser and Soldererkaser, with a steep climb between Tschiker Kaser and the old Sodra Kaser that needs some pushing or carrying. It offers stunning views of alpine meadows and valleys in East Tyrol. The loop returns to Assling via Talweg and an old path to St. Korbinian church, ending back at the Sportzentrum.
