The Gampe Alm mountain bike route starts at the Freizeit Arena in central Sölden and follows the Ötztal cycle path toward the Gaislachkogelbahn valley station. From there, riders take federal road B186 and then climb the steep Gletscherstraße with its hairpin bends before reaching the Hochsöldenstraße intersection. The route continues on Hochsöldenstraße for about six kilometers, where a forestry road branches left onto a gravel path that leads directly to Gampe Alm and Gampe Thaya. This moderate mountain bike route rewards riders with excellent food at the alpine hut after a demanding climb through varied terrain.
