Drachentour

The Drachentour is a challenging mountain bike loop in Styria, Austria, named after the Drachenhöhle (Dragon Cave) located near Mixnitz on the Röthelstein. This hard ride takes riders through varied terrain with significant elevation gain as they navigate the well-marked route around the distinctive limestone formations of the region. The trail is only open from mid-May through late September due to seasonal conditions. Starting from the Mixnitz-Bärenschützklamm train station area, riders experience a demanding but rewarding adventure through one of Styria's most scenic mountain biking destinations.
