Val di Sole

Val di Sole is a wide valley in northwestern Trentino, Italy, that stretches along the Noce River between tall mountains over 3,000 meters high. It sits between big mountain groups like Ortles-Cevedale to the north, Adamello-Presanella to the south, and the Dolomiti di Brenta. Visitors see changing landscapes from apple orchards and forests in the valley bottom to green pastures, glaciers, and alpine lakes higher up. Parts of the area are in the Stelvio National Park and Adamello Brenta Nature Park, perfect for hiking, biking along the river paths, and winter skiing. Side valleys like Val di Pejo and Val di Rabbi add more wild scenery and thermal springs. Summer brings green meadows and outdoor fun, while winter offers snowy slopes and fresh air.
