The Rastötzenweg trail starts from Bad Hofgastein near the Annenkapelle and climbs steadily through a beautiful forest on a gravel path to the Rastötzenalm at 1740 meters. Riders pass by a charming chapel and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and waterfalls along the way. The terrain mixes smooth gravel sections with some steeper parts that test your fitness on this challenging uphill ride. At the top, the alpine hut offers a great spot to rest and take in the panoramic scenery. This official mountain bike route feels rewarding with its mix of nature and moderate technical demands.
