The Darmstädter Hütten Tour starts in St. Anton am Arlberg and follows trail number 771 up through forests and meadows into the Verwall Mountains. Riders climb steep sections on a gravel forest road past the Tritsch Alp and Rossfall Alp to the Kartellspeicher reservoir, then tackle a final sharp ascent to the hut at nearly 2400 meters. The trail offers stunning views of high alpine peaks over 3000 meters and a beautiful lake near the top. The wide path mixes crisp climbs with easier parts through open pastures, but the descent needs care due to sharp stones. Riders enjoy the mix of forest, meadows, and rocky high terrain on this challenging route.
